New West Pride Film Feast
It’s the New West Pride pre-party! Let’s get the fun started with a free screening of short indie films that uplift LGBTQ+ voices. Join us in celebrating a beautiful collection of visual stories of love, life, identity and queer perspectives. Come dressed for our red carpet and prepare for an evening of stories to lift your spirits and ignite your imagination.
The first annual New West Pride Film Feast is a one night only event that takes place on August 18 from 7pm to 9pm at the Laura C. Muir Performing Arts Theatre at Douglas College in downtown New Westminster. The audience will be invited to dig into a series of six short films that showcases the indomitable spirit of queerness, celebrates a collective resilience, and illuminates the power of unity
The New West Film Feast is presented by Arts New West in partnership with New West Pride and New West Film Fest. The event aims to make queer stories a part of everyday life in a meaningful and empowering way. This event is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
